How can we use ‘between … and …’?
Rule: The action happens at a dot of time during the period.
3. Practice:
1) Please look at the time table and plete some sentences.
2) Millie likes watching Golden TV. It is her favourite TV channel. Help her plan what to watch this Saturday night. Please finish her sentences on P69.
3) These two phrases can be used not only in describing timetable, but also in describing many other things. Let’s have a look.

II. Using ‘before’, ‘after’ and ‘until’.
1.Revision: Translate some sentences into English.

2.Work out the rule:
T: From these sentences, we can find out how to use ‘before’, ‘after’ and ‘until’.
Rule: *‘Before’ means ‘at an earlier time than’;
*‘After’ means ‘at a later time than’;
*‘Until’ means ‘up to the time that’.
3. Practice:
1) plete the following sentences with proper words.
2) Look at the pictures below and make some sentences, using ‘before, after and until’.
3) Do you want to know Millie’s TV schedule? Let’s read her words on P70 and plete her sentences with ‘before’, ‘after’ and ‘until’.
III. Using ‘while’ and ‘as’.
1. Revision: Translate some sentences into English.

Rule: They can be used to introduce a longer action that started before a shorter action. “As” can also be used to join two short actions that happen at the same time, but “while” can’t.
3. Practice:
1) plete the following sentences with ‘while’ or ‘as’.
2) Look at some pictures and make sentences using ‘while, as’.
3) Millie had a good night. What about Daniel? Please help Daniel answer Millie’s questions on page 72 using ‘while’ and ‘as’.
IV. Using paratives and superlatives of adverbs。
1. Revision:
1) Do you know what Millie thinks of the programmes she watched on Saturday night? Please finish her words with proper forms of the given words.
2) In Millie’s words, she used the parative and superlative of adjectives. Do you still remember how to use them? Fill in the blanks with the proper forms of the given adjectives.
2. Presentation.
Look at some pictures and describe them with paratives and superlatives of adv.
Dolphin A swims fast.
Dolphin B swims faster (than Dolphin A).
Dolphin C swims the fastest (of the three).
3. Work out the rule:
1) We can form parative and superlative adverbs in the same way as we do for parative and superlative adjectives.
2) Read the following adverbs, then tell the rules.

不规则变化:
well―better―best, badly―worse―worst, much―more―most, little―less―least, far― farther/further―farthest/furthest
